Irvin
and Bonnie Burkee were a husband and wife team who created jewelry
in the modernist tradition beginning in the 1940s. Irvin died in
2007. A more complete

Form &
Function, American Modernist Jewelry, 1940 - 1970 and their work
was included in the exhibit "American Modernist Jewelry, 1940 -
