It is rare to find a cuff by merry renk and this one is wonderful!  Sterling cuff titled "V Strip;" about 1-3/8" wide (at the widest section); inside diameter approximately 2-1/8" with a 1-1/8" opening; signed: "renk, STERLING."

About this piece, merry renk said, "The sterling silver bracelet or cuff was named “V STRIP”---It was designed in 1956 and I repeated it.  Square sterling silver wires were soldered onto sterling silver sheet followed by sawing, forming. oxidizing and polishing."  "V STRIP" was shown in her retrospective exhibit at the California Crafts Museum in 1981 and a drawing of this cuff by merry is included on the poster for that exhibit.
