Stunning sterling coffee and tea set
by William Spratling, c. 1956-1962; wonderful oval shaped set consisting
of two pots and a sugar and creamer, all with seated jaguar-shaped
finials and graceful ebony handles; largest pot is approximately
9" tall, smaller pot is about 7" tall, and sugar and creamer
are each about 3-1/2" tall; each piece is hallmarked with the
circular Spratling mark of 1956-1962 and an eagle mark with number
"30;" set shows a little wear on the bottom and there
are a few surface scratches and one or two very tiny indentations;
otherwise excellent condition.
