This Orientalist jade and 18K gold necklace and pin/pendant is a
superb example of Mary Kretsinger's ingenuity and artistry; on each side
of the necklace, 12 graduated jade beads separated by a gold tube end
with gold disks and loops that continue with carved jade rings
interspaced with gold rings; the clasp is formed from two gold leaves
that fit into the gold lotus blossom that tops the carved jade
pin/pendant which is probably an antique piece--carved with a lotus
blossom on the front and Chinese characters on the reverse; it is also
possible to remove the carved jade pendant from the gold lotus blossom
by means of a tube in the back that slides out--you have to see it!
The necklace is about 7" long, not including the lotus blossom that adds
another 2"; pin/pendant is about 4-1/2 " long; marked: "18K;" excellent

Beautiful 18K gold lotus blossom earrings with jade drops--one with two
and the other with one; both drops are removable; earrings are clips;
each is approximately 1-1/2" long; each lotus flower is about 1-1/4"

Graceful 18K gold neckring with removable and reversible pendant
that is actually a tiny pill box; one side of the pendant is cloisonné
enamel in a rainbow of rich colors and the other side is textured gold;
the clasp of the neckring opens so the pendant can be reversed or
removed--perhaps one of the other pendants that we have called "ear
pendants" could be substituted; neckring is about 16-1/2" around and the
inside diameter is approximately 5" (this piece fits a fairly small
neck); pendant is 1-1/2" long (including ring) and about 7/8" diameter;

A beautiful piece of hand-carved orange resin was the basis for this
lovely necklace by Mary Kretsinger who surrounded it with a hammered 18K
gold bezel and attached it to a gold clasp that is ingeniously designed; the necklace is made up of carved
orange resin beads interspersed with faceted beads;
necklace is approximately 15-1/2" long; pendant is about 2-1/2"

A magical ensemble--three 18K gold pieces in one, each with a
combination of magnificent bezel-set stones; bracelet attaches to a
pendant that, in turn, attaches to a ring--all pieces are detachable;
18K gold bracelet has what I believe is an emerald cut green tourmaline
and an opal; pendant has three beautiful opals, two amethysts, two light
green stones--possibly jade, and another large cabochon that may be a
type of opal; ring has two opals, two of the light green stones and one
center amethyst; bracelet is slightly under 7 " around the outside and
the inside diameter is about 2-1/8" (side to side) and slightly more
than 1-5/8" (back to front), (fits small wrist); pendant is about 2-5/8" x 2"; ring is
slightly smaller than size 7 and the top is approximately 1-3/4"
diameter; each piece is marked: "MK, 18K;" 59.7 dwt.; all are in excellent
