Gorgeous 18K gold and amethyst cabochon pin with detachable opal bail (to create a pendant); 20 amethyst cabochons of varying sizes (some bezel set and some prong set) rise from the brooch like dew drops; opal shines with bright pinks and blues; gold granulation work reminds one of the surface of the moon--a fabulous piece! Approximately 3" x 3"; inscribed: "MK, 2- ?-61" (or 67) and stamped "MK" in a second place; 49.3 dwt; excellent condition. SOLD (item #K01) |

of gold as if the tops of each strip was hammered; each earring is about 2" long, top
section is approximately 7/8" diameter, bottom section is about 5/8"

This piece has a charming surprise inside. When you wear this pendant, you
will be the keeper of a tiny 18K gold cricket with legs that really move
and green enameled wings; pendant is an antique carved ivory
container--perhaps originally for a cricket or scent bottle--I'm not
sure; ivory "cage" is about 3-1/4" long with 18K gold bail, hinge and
catch; cricket is about 1-1/2" long; all is in excellent condition. $1,350.00 (item #K04) |

This is one of my favorites--an ingenious combination of modern design
and the antique; 18K gold pin with textured sterling silver "leaf",
antique carved ivory rose and pendant with a beautiful white stone--not
sure what it is--clear with some pinks and blues when held to the
light--also concentric circles and hair-like inclusions; about 2-1/2"
