Gorgeous 18K gold and amethyst cabochon pin with detachable opal bail (to create a pendant); 20 amethyst cabochons of varying sizes (some bezel set and some prong set) rise from the brooch like dew drops; opal shines with bright pinks and blues; gold granulation work reminds one of the surface of the moon--a fabulous piece! This piece has a charming surprise inside. When you wear this pendant, you
will be the keeper of a tiny 18K gold cricket with legs that really move
and green enameled wings; pendant is an antique carved ivory
container--perhaps originally for a cricket or scent bottle--I'm not
sure; ivory "cage" is about 3-1/4" long with 18K gold bail, hinge and

of this hammered 18K gold ring with a side opal cabochon in a hinged
