Extremely rare, magnificent Antonio Pineda sterling and amethyst necklace and earrings set; necklace is approximately 14-1/4" long overall; beautiful, teardrop-shaped graduated amethyst drops extend down about 2"; earrings are each approximately 1-3/8" long x 1-3/4" wide; necklace is marked with Antonio crown stamp, eagle stamp with "17", "SILVER, 970, HECHO EN MEXICO;" one earring is marked with the Antonio crown stamp and the other with an eagle stamp with "17;" the bezels holding four of the larger amethysts (on the necklace) do not come together completely at the bottom (see larger photograph), but seem stable, otherwise the set is in very fine condition with a lovely, soft patina. $10,700.00 (item #X770) |
