Great little elliptical sterling pin with blue stone bead, ca. 1950s, most likely by Mary Parker; approximately 1 1/4" x 1"; marked: "PARKER, STERLING;" fine condition.

Mary Parker was a silversmith in Normal, Illinois during the 1950s. Her work is pictured in Jewelry Making as an Art Expression by Kenneth Winebrenner and my book, Modernist Jewelry, 1930-1960, The Wearable Art Movement.
