Exquisite hammered sterling box by Laffi with pre-Columbian Peruvian burial cloth on top (under plastic); I have never seen another like this; approximately 9-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 1-1/2"; box lined with maroon velvet; bottom of box has maroon leather-like material in silver frame; box is marked on inside lid: PERU, G LAFFI 925"; silver is in fine condition with light surface wear; velvet is in very good condition with slight wear; leather-like material on bottom has slight discoloration; plastic on top is slightly scratched but could be easily replaced, overall fine condition.
