Great design enamel on silverplate tazza by Towle, c. 1955; beautiful red and black enamels with interesting modernist design; about 7-5/8" diameter x 1-1/2" design; Towle silversmith's label on bottom and stamped: "TOWLE, SILVERSMITHS, E.P. 5006," and Towle hallmark; some light surface wear, a few light scratches, and one tiny spot of enamel loss, otherwise fine condition. This tazza is shown in Modernism in American Silver, page 273. SOLD (item #E014)
