Beautiful sterling starfish brooch by Maricela; c. early 1950s; aproximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"; marked: "Maricela, TASCO, HECHO EN MEXICO, STERLING" and eagle mark with number "3".

 

 Maricela was the Taxco workshop of Isidro Garcia Pina who named it for his daughter.  He is especially known for his beautiful spriraling designs. (information from Mexican Silver by Berk). and Morrill
