Large, early sterling salad fork, ca. 1940s, by William Spratling; almost 13" long; inside of fork has a beautifully hammered surface; piece is marked "SPRATLING, STERLING;" shows wear, there are some scratches on the inside of the fork, one small semicircular deep scratch (that does not go all the way through) on one edge; wood is slightly dry, but otherwise fine.
