Lovely oval ring by Sholtz & Lammel, Germany, probably ca. 1960s; cloisonné matte enamel in red and purple with silver-colored metal; oval top is about 7/8" x slightly less than 5/8"; shank is adjustable--open in back; currently size 6; marked with "S" (in circle); fine condition.
