This painting was included in a juried show at the George E. Ohr Art Center Juried Exhibit in Biloxi, Mississippi, and was given Honorable Mention at the City of Laurel Art in the Park Juried Exhibit, Laurel, Mississippi, 1999.

Dorothy McLamore is a native of New Orleans.  She studied art at Newcomb College of Tulane University and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.  Her works have been included in many juried exhibits and group shows throughout the Gulf South and Delta region.
