Fine art photographer Sandra Russell Clark, a native of New Orleans, has been published in Vogue, Mirabella, Traveler and American Artists. Her original photographs can be found in private, corporate and museum collections including the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the New Orleans Museum of Art,Memphis Brooks Museum and the Guild Hall Museum in East Hampton, New York. In 1997, L.S.U. Press published Ms. Clark's collection of photographs "Elysium-A Gathering of Souls-New Orleans Cemeteries". A portfolio of photographs from the book was selected by "Voies Off " to be presented at the 1998 Recontres Internationales de la Photographie d'Arles, France.

Dorothy McLamore is a native of New Orleans.  She studied art at Newcomb College of Tulane University and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.  Her works have been included in many juried exhibits and group shows throughout the Gulf South and Delta region.

"CABALLOS" BY JORGE LOVATO

Miniature sculpture in bronze of six horses on stone base (mesa) by Jorge Lovato, 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" including base, monogrammed "JL", and numbered.

Jorge Lovato is especially known for the miniature groups of animals he carves out of a single piece of wood.  The artist, originally from Taos, feels his carvings grow out of his childhood memories.  His work is marked by originality and simplicity in form and feeling.

"Caballos" will be exhibited at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts miniature show in November, 1999.
