A wonderful example of the work of Jean Emile Puiforcat; Art Deco sterling spoon in its original box; presumably made for the 1937 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, with PARIS 1937 on one side and the ship of Paris on the other; approximately 5-3/4" long (12cm); marked with Puiforcat's bench mark "EP"(within lozenge), and French hallmark for first silver standard (Poinçon de garantie premier titre) indicating .950 sterling and "JEAN E.
