Great older Mexican pin in the pre-Columbian jaguar-serpent motif; sterling with stone (I'm unsure of the type of stone--black with streaks of green); approximately 3" long x 1-3/4" wide; marked with overlapping letters (see larger photo), "TAXCO, 925, 189;" safety catch has been added with lead solder and there is a tiny splash of copper upper right, otherwise fine condition.
