Antique,
Turkoman, tribal necklace with gold washed silver, and bright red
carnelian or glass beads; bottom has dangles with a fish design; this
piece is almost identical to the design of ear jewelry (see page 247
in Jewellery from the Orient - Treasures from the Bir Collection by
Wolf-Dieter Seiwert, published by Arnoldsche, see
http://www.modernsilver.com/booksales.htm); necklace is
possibly from Iran; pendant is about 9-1/4" x 2--3/4", chain is
about 24" around; no marks; some wear otherwise fine condition.
